I tried Bontrager Ultralight tubes on recommendation from my bike shop and so far after about 400 miles I have seen no problems. I run Michelin ProRace2 tires at about 105 lbs and I weigh 210 lbs. I also tried the Velocity rim plugs about 200 miles ago and so far they are working well. They take up a little less room than tape so that makes tires easier to mount. Also they weigh slightly less than tape. If they continue to work it is a win win situation.
