Well, wadaya know. Talk about synchronicity. Today I had an older bike come in the shop for service, and it was equipped with, you guessed it, a Nexus 7. Had no axle flats on the left side. The fella that brought it in said he bought it about 5 years ago. The shifter cable set up is not nearly as serviceable as the up to date ones are either. This one has a pinch screw to hold the cable directly to the shift collar whereas the new models are quick release.
Gotta love the new and improved!
