Rode the Platte River Trail, which goes from S of Denver to North of Denver through the downtown area. Anyway, for the entire 30 miles there are only 2 street intersections - that is right, only TWO. And the first one had no cars - it is a small, unused street, and the 2nd had 2 cars.
The trail is extremely scenic, and intersects with the C-470 Trail, the Lee Gulch Trail, the Big Dry Creek Trail, the Bear Creek Trail, the Cherry Creek Trail, and the Clear Creek Trail.
On this slide and the one further down will be some pics for your enjoyment.
Oh - considering I rode 17 miles last night and 60 today, perhaps I might say I rode a Metric Century in 24 hours. Anyway, who cares - it was a lot of fun and my longest ride yet this year. I just give thanks that these almost 64 year old legs can carry me so far.
Also, please see the 2nd pic in 3 more posts below.
