Our "Governor Good Hair" wouldn't know good government if it stepped on his toes...

His latest proposal is a Super Highway across the state with a 1/4 mile width to accomodate 8 - 16 lanes of vehicular traffic. Oh, there would be a rail line in there, too, probably. Rails to trails? If he's ever heard of it, he's given no indication. Our state parks are falling apart and/or closing due to lack of funding by the legislature: evidently prisons are more important in Texas than schools, parks or alternative transportation routes...
