Hi, im new to the forums. Being an ex MTB racer I know nothing about road bikes. But what i found in the back of a garage banged up and abandoned 70s looking Mercier. I thought it would be good as a beater to rebuild as a singlespeed. With the detailing and stickers on it such a wasted to junk.

Can you help me identify what model/year maybe some history on what this frame acually is?
