I have noticed the derailleur cage is bent outwards from the wheel. This in turn causes the upper pulley to be tilted at an angle and makes a soft whirring noise. No, my hangar is not bent as i've aligned it and it shifts cleanly and smoothly, but makes a whirring noise as the chainline shifts. It seems when I grab onto the cage, there is some play back and forth, but returns to its outward bent position. Is there any way to tighten this? Surely someone has run into this before.
