lol, I do the same thing.
Unfortunately, I'm starting to get a permanent "helmet head" as my hair is starting to "flow" in the shape of the inside of my helmet. Even after a shampoo you can see the pattern of the helmet pads, which appears as a sort of reverse mohawk down the middle of my scalp.
No one's commented on it though.
