I removed a Stronglight set yesterday with my TA fit tool. I can't speak for all of them, but this one (single ring, 70's) had a 23mm interior thread, like TA. TA fit tools are available in the UK for about £10, and I think cheaper in the states. Have a look on the net. The one I bought has the 22mm Shimano fit on one end, and the TA on the other.
