Hello all,

I just joined due to practicality - I saw a thread I wanted to post to, but don' have an account.

I've lived in Madison, WI for the last ten years and it is a haven for bicyclists - both commuters and recreational riders - the city has wonderful bike paths!

Here is a shot of me and my trusty steed - a rebuilt 1984 Trek 520 Touring bike - I hope to tour in Germany some day. If any of you have done international touring, esp Europe, it would be interesting to hear your stories.
