I would hang onto them. You are correct, most if not all of the posts talking about cracks, mine included, are not relevant. These wheels might be very desirable in the future to collectors.
I would add, despite the fact that mine cracked, I have two friends, approx. the same weight as me, that are still riding theirs. I still like the wheels, and will probably end up with another rear Pro, or a set of Vigors at some point in the future.
