I am very loyal to B&L Bikes in Solana Beach. IMO they have the best customer service and the most knowledgeable sales staff. I have never gone into the store and felt as though they were trying to brush me off or ignore me in any way. I've seen them drop everything in order to help someone who came in with a slight problem with a beach cruiser. In contrast, I once went into Nytro while very seriously considering spending $2000 on a bike and was basically ignored by the sales staff. It was like they were trying to make me feel guilty that I wasn't buying something more high end! Oh well, their loss.

Also, if you are looking specifically for a Scott I would suggest Hi-Tech bikes in Clairmont Mesa. I believe that they have a few. But beware, Hi-Tech is EXTREMELY high end and carries only a few lower end bikes at a time. Although it is fun just to go look at the high end eye candy
