I have both and I really enjoy the comfort of the sprung saddle. On Sheldon's site, I read about how sprung saddles were actually the norm for every bike until people started doing club rides on bikes that were focused on speed instead of leisure. Personally, I'll probably stick with springs from here on out, although many people rave about the thudbuster seat post(which I haven't tried). Bonne Route!
