I'm trying to imagine cleaning my bike or my motorcycle after every ride and the time that would take.
I admit, years ago I was a little anal about detailing the material possesions and when my bike(s) got a scratch I would stress.
Maintain them mechanically, spot clean when necessary, ride the piss out of them and when they give up the ghost or aren't meeting my needs, get a new/different one.
