What I find surprising is that she basically did all this riding on junk bikes. I'm sure you won't find a Trek 5200 in her stable.

It goes to show you what can be done with very little. As I said before, there really is a need out there for inexpensive 3 speed utiltiy bicycles under $100.00. Unfortunatly what we have are Xmart bikes that have 27 gears but only 1 that's functional.

I also want to point out that riding your kids around like the way she did was a little irresponsible. I could never recommend anyone to do that. I guess we can make an exception for her since nothing bad happened and she was probably dirt poor at that time.
