Use the google pedometer to find a way to get over to 67 ave:
-you can take that up to 48st without too much trouble, 67ave gets busier north of there
-so move over to the east a little and take either 63 or 64 ave north, there are lots of stopsigns but almost all of them are 4 ways
-there is a canal you have to go around that you will see on the gmap i mentioned earlier
-eventually 63 or 64ave will take you up to 4st
-take 4st west to 72ave then go north
-this is where the traffic will be worst, once you pass flagler there isnt much choice on your route until you get to nw12 st
-you can either deal with 72ave or take nw12 st over to 79ave or 82ave, either one will take you up to 25st
Hope to see you out there and use the gmap pedometer to refine your route
Good luck!
Excellent, hey I have lived in the area for a long time and as a kid did a lot of city riding but it has been a couple decades since. I know the route you mentioned exactly, I can picture just about every major landmark along the way. I guess I am surprised you would suggest going so far east but then again what are the choices...Galloway! Yikes! between traffica and construction it's a scary route. I can't wait for the 97th ave bridge over 836 to open.
Thanks again, I will post again with my new ride, maybe the Portland or Soho...
