I have the DoubleShot, so I can try to answer a few of your questions. DISCLAIMER: I would never have bought it at full price, but only paid $125 on Ebay brand new. They (DS/TS) both seem very pricey.

What is the realtime burn on that?
How long does it last for on a full charge? DS has lasted 3.5 hours, but I never have let it run down completely; no apparent change in intensity over time
Are you able to toggle one, two, or all three lights on if you wanted to save power or modes? No toggle mode
Is there a power save mode? No power save
Very important, how bright is the light compared to halogens? 10-20-30W? Someone has a comparison on this, I think SLVOID can lead you in the right direction for pictures?
How secure is that mounting bracket? Is it a positive lock and no slippage?ALL very good, no issues at all with mine
Toolless handlebar mount? Yes
Does the light have a quick release for those grocery runs? Does the battery quick release as well? Yes for light, battery is velcro'ed on, so YES
What is the optimum range (positive ID with bright light on the ground) of the light? not sure of this, I use it on bikepaths and in pretty well lit city driving. I usually aim it down on the path a bit to stop from blinding people. It is quite bright
What is the max. effective range on the light?
How wide are the floods? Good wide even coverage so you can see hazards upclose where using a spot only you won't see well? brighter in the middle, still good coverage. I would hazard a guess of maybe a 10 foot spot good for 50-100 feet ahead. Again, very dependent on other lighting though
How is the spot light coverage at the optimum range? Even white light?
How weather-resistant is it? Have you tested in 4 seasons? unknown, good thusfar in rain. Appears very resistant. Cable attachments have o-rings and twist locks. Power button is totally covered and integrated into the cord
How is the light when it rains (if you ride in the rain)? Does it washout due to reflections? Haven't really paid too much attention to this, not many rain runs and mostly in the light

Thanks in advance for answering my questions. Never got a reply back from Cateye and some stuff you can't find out unless someone has owned and used it.

Overall, I am very happy with the quality and performance of the DS. I have had comments by neighbours that they thought a motorcycle or scooter was coming down the road. I don't like the battery pack all that much, and the charging connection is a bit quirky. We will have to see what time will tell though. As stated before, SLVOID or I-Like-to-Bike or someone else has a very good review on this light with pictures etc.
