What a great 3-day ride over the weekend! The trip to Walden was up Hwy 40 to Hwy 14. The return trip was the more direct route through Rand. There was breathtaking scenery, beautiful mountain passes, and two crosses of the Continental Divide. We camped along the way, one night right in the city park in Walden, where they had a hot air balloon festival, with all the associated activities. This is a nice little community.
