Who would spend that much money on a pair of aviators? He ain't gonna have no money left for his first year at university! I've been trying to convince him to spend less or at least buy a pair of glasses that look good but the marketing bug has caught him!
Back in my irresponsible youth I used to buy nothing but Oakley. After a year in which I spent $1000 (between losing them, dog eating them..those nose pieces are soooo tasty, and breaking them) on fashionable sunglasses I learned the error of my ways and started buying cheaper ones. I don't look as cool but I can buy the expensive tuna to go with my Kraft dinner.
