Who's riding a trainer at this point in the season?

Haven't been able to ride with my cycling mates lately due to this that and the other. I get a little nervous riding by myself as we sometimes get some nasty remarks and middle fingers from the locals. I feel like there is more of a chance they will try something like throwing something at me or worse if I am by myself. Accordingly, I have gone back to my trusty trainer. You would think that I could do the CTS Climbing video a little easier given all the climbing I have done thus far (live in the foothills of the Appalachians). What I am finding is that it is much more painful at a lower heart rates than it is out on the road. I can ride on the road in the 170 range for quite a while. Low to mid 160's is a bugger on the trainer. Anybody else out there incorporating the trainer at this point towards your goals? --Whitemax
