Exactly. Although I won't discount that there is a real danger out there, I don't think every idiot that yells from his truck is dangerous. Their bark is far worse then their bite. Half the time I can't even understand what's being yelled, I just assume it's something along the lines of "great job, it's inspiring to see you out here every day rain or shine".
Although, in Atlanta the drivers are very nice. I haven't gotten the finger yet since moving from California. Maybe instead of hanging up your bike you should just move!

I am always tempted to yell out encouragement when driving past other cyclists, but I am afraid that they would do the opposite and assume I was swearing at them. As far as trainers go I used mine a few times back in July, but I'm not even sure what closet its in right now.
