I average anywhere from 17-19 mph by myself, depending on the distance. Most of my rides are 20-30 miles, but I've ridden up to 50. Cheers!
Hey I just moved to Davis from Fairfield. Looking for a new road bike right now (I've never owned one). I recently bought a new MTB hardtail. Going to Rockville today!!! I know what you mean about all the clubs in the area. My experience at one particular LBS has totally turned me off from buying from them. They seem to care more about their own clubmates than a small time biker like myself. One day I'll spin circles around them suckers.
Hopefully I can find the right deal on a new bike soon. Maybe we can hook up for a ride sometime.
