How many folk's here have actually broken a chain while riding? Sure the $$$ chains are nice but I have been riding brakeless on the street for many years and have never had a breakage problem. As long as the chain is installed correctly it shouldn't be a problem. I took off a Wipperman because it was way too noisy...now I am back to the cheapo KMC chain....ahhhhh silence.
