One of my LBSes is that way. The local cycle club gathers there on Saturdays after the morning ride, hang out, doing what we used to call "rack racing"
Someone usually has a big pot of coffee and some bagels available. If I happen to go thru there I will give em some grief. But I have spent my fair share of time hanging out at the shop too
