resolve tire width with wheel width?
How does one determine the widest tire they can put on a given width of wheel? Can a 27 x 1 1/4 tire be put on a 27 x 1 wheel? A 700c x 35c tire be put on a 23c wheel? Is there a simple formula for determining the ranges of width of tire a given wheel size can accomodate?
