So much for the slow steady start.
We were burning it up the first 50 miles and paid the price those last 15.
Nice of coach Jerry to pick that relatively flat course for you. I can only imagine what a hilly course would be to him.
If you want a flat course make the trip down to the North Shore Century on Sept 17th. Us here in Illinois will show you flat!!! We should have a decent turnout for that ride as well. Think about it. One of your goals was the century and to do 2 this year would be a dream season.
