Pay for ss cranks, why not convert my current setup
So I was planning on buying a sugino crank with a 44 tooth setup. Then I got to thinking, couldnt i just take off my current rings (double) and slap a 44 on with shorter crank arm bolts? I have my bontrager track wheel that fits nice in the rear with the fix and the ss setup. Is there a potential problem with the ring being to far to the outside, do the single speed cranks have a better aligned position for a straight line?
