The seatpost is criminal. The bolt is too long, Cervelo knows this. So they sell a replacement bolt on the website for $3.50, $15 shipping. I doubt I will buy another Cervelo, nice frames, but the company is run by dicks.
I don't have this seatpost problem. Is it well greased?
Every frame I've ever owned (except for my MTB) has had toe overlap so I didn't expect the Cervelo to be any different. However, with the Soloist, the problem is a lot more pronounced - with a 170 crank, the pedal nearly touches the front tire.

I was going to order the replacement bolt online, but Cervelo charges $3.50 plus $50 shipping (or $75 for express shipping) to send it to Hawaii. Criminal is right.

Regarding the seatpost problem, I suspected it wasn't too common because the mechanics at my LBS said they hadn't seen this happen before. The post was well greased, but it was just too tight to move without removing the shim first.
