USA Today had a stat this week that bicycling accounts for 1.1 million jobs in the US. I was amazed, but then you start adding up the spending and it is significant, even if a lot of it is going overseas.

For me: 1) $2000 (approximately) on my TT bike
2) $1000 for a 1977 Schwinn Paramount Track bike
3) $1600 Zipp wheel with a Powertap SL
4)$1800 coaching
5) $600 HED trispoke
6) $250 TT helmet, and shoe covers
7)$750 approximately tubes, tires, clothing, misc stuff.

If I included bike related travel expenses I'd max the chart, but I view those expenses asbeing allocated to my wife's extravagant travel tastes as opposed to my cycling.

I'm counting on the fact none of you know my wife.
