Hey everybody! I really enjoyed this ride. This was a first for me. I have never climbed this big a mountain before. I am so glad I changed my 12-23 cassette to a 12-27 two days before the ride! When I was riding up that last stretch to the ski lifts I could not beleive I was running a 27 tooth gear at the back: it felt like a 12! But nonetheless, I made it to the top! (had to take a few pauses along the way, unlike a few others that passed me by!). It was really great riding with you California roadies (Extort, Matteo44, 1955, Voltman and many others). Thanks Matt for the ride. Also got to meet the famous (at least by the number of postings she has!) Calligurl!
Hope to ride again with you guys (and girls) in the near future (although I am going back to Montreal on September 28).
I would really love to obtain pictures of todays' ride to show my buddies in Montreal. If you can, please PM me and I will provide my email so you could send me pictures.
