So after my '06 Lemond Sarthe was stolen about a week ago, I thought it would be another long proccess of finding the right bike to replace it. I went to my favorite bike shop here, and that same day they had taken in an '02 Lemond Victoire, full titanium, all Ultegra, with about 5,000 miles put on it for a trade-in. The guy said he could let me take it for $1000. The bike is in awesome condition, and is exactly my size, so not wanting to let someone else act on the deal, I purcahsed the bike on the spot. Only riding I have done on it was the 20 miles home, and it rode beautifully. I am not regretting my decision, but was just wondering if you all think I could have gotten a better deal?
