Usually on Sunday I am on the road at sunrise for 60 to 70 miles, but not this Sunday. I was up late setting up a Linux box for my 10 year old son, so the super early wake up wasn't to be. I got off around 8 am and was going to meet some people in another town (Micanopy) at 9 am for a ride so I took the scenic route. Got there early and just cruised around the town for a while. We all meet up and go for a nice, civilized, spin in the country and head back to town. All told it was a nice, pleasant 55 mile ride. Today I made up for it by doing a solo hammer ride for 35 miles.
