i did a pretty hilly century a few week ago. 48 or 49 16. brakeless. very fast. get the saddle thing figured out now. i couldn't feel my shaft for almost a halfday. also... chamois cream... very good idea. my ass cheeks were chaffed raw without it. lots of water. a little food (in the way of bars). make sure yr shoes/socks are comfy. etc. have fun. bullhorns are nice, cos yr wrists are gonna get tweaked and varying the hand positions'll be nice.
