If you have to justify it, you really don't want it. I can't justify the fact that the 2 tires on my bike cost more than 4 tires on my car. I can't justify that my new bike wheels cost more than my car is worth. My bike cost less than a years worth of car payment - which I don't have.

I can justify that I don't need a bike this nice. I can justify the fact that when I am alone on a back road with my bike I am happy.

It's not the need to justify, it's the pride of ownership. Can a guy who drives a really nice expensive car justify it?

Just buy it. Better yet buy the next model up.
