I just got back to school down in Blacksburg Va (Go Hokies) and between classes and this damn rain I haven’t gotten many miles in. I just started riding back in mid June but did most of my riding in Northern Va meaning the hills/ mountains here are murderous to my pansy legs (granted it also means that I now have at least 99% less traffic to deal with on any given ride). I was wondering if anyone had a favorite ride mapped out in the area that I could start riding and any recommendations for how to get my legs used to the mountain terrain that doesn’t include me walking up hills. Hopefully I will get some pics up here of the area, if you haven't ridden in the hills of VA it is def worth it.
