I've been wearing a polypropelene base layer in the winter,
and last week received one of the mesh base layers to
assist "wicking" and cooling. Given I'm doing Hotter than
Hell this weekend I figured it can't hurt.
I went out yesterday, temps mid to upper 90's, high humidity
(for this area) and did a quick 25 mile ride.
I have to say I'm impressed, it worked. I was alot more
comfortable, didn't have rivulets of sweat running down
my torso, and didn't seem to mind the heat/humidity as
much.
Anyone else have experience with using this type
of base layer?
Bicycling Hub has some
on sale for $12.00 reduced from $39. if anyone is interested.
