Saturday, I rode up Highway 9 from Santa Cruz to Saratoga, then sat around watching all the cyclists pass by for a while. Then, I climbed Bohlman and On Orbit, descended Montevina, climbed Black and Gist, descended Skyline and Bear Creek to Boulder Creek. From there, I took 236, Jamison Creek, and Empire Grade back home.

Monday, I rode to Corralitos. The market was closed for Labor Day. The sign at the bottom of Eureka Canyon saying road closed 10 miles was still there. Nonetheless, I rode up Eureka Canyon and Highland to the Summit Market and out of the fog and clouds. Then, I took Summit, Skyline, 9 and 236 to Big Basin, and returned home via Jamison Creek and Empire Grade.
