Today, I came behind a group of 10 riders. I announced myself with a wave when one of them looked back, but since she didn't do anything I assumed she didn't see for some reason. A friendly "hello" got her and another guy to look back, but they kept on going and ignored me. One of the 2 was on what looked to be the denali. That's nice. If you're gonna be a snob, get a better bike.... and don't get dropped by some kid who's trying to be nice.

However, this wouldn't be significant except that I dropped the group. A year ago I had to SPRINT to get to 26mph or so... but when I passed them today, my screen read "24". I thought I could never keep a 22+mph pace and not get tired. That's awesome. Main point is, keep riding and you shall find inspiration! It's a great feeling to do something that you never thought you could do.
