I thought I could never keep a 22+mph pace and not get tired. That's awesome. Main point is, keep riding and you shall find inspiration! It's a great feeling to do something that you never thought you could do.
A true snob would've made fun of you and your bike for whatever reasons they could think of.

Congrats you came in first in the 1-man race. Enjoy the ego boost.
