The shoes seem to be a fine fit, but after about 5 miles I begin to develop a hotspot on my left foot... basically where the shoe meets the pedal.
The cleats are in the same position for both the left and right shoes, but as I pedal it doesn't feel like they are positioned in the same area on my feet. I've tried moving the left cleat back a few mm, but that didn't seem to do much.
In general it seems one shoe fits a little better than the other... are my feet different sizes?
Any ideas as to how I can get rid of it? It's getting really annoying!

it's pretty common for one foot to be bigger than the other. if repositioning the cleat doesn't work, you could also be pronating your left foot in a different way than your right as you pedal. i'd check into that before investing in a better pair of shoes.
