I don't put a lot of stock into dropping or being dropped by other people. There are plenty of riders who are faster than me. I'm sure there are some who are slower. Big deal...just ride.
I don't ride with others, but my usual ride is around 55-60 miles along Foxen Canyon in SB county, the best I have done is an average of 16.2MPH. I can hold a 25-26 MPH speed on a straight for a mile easily, the fastest I have done was 53MPH downhill. But I am still not able to increase my average speed a lot. Next step I am changing my compact crank to a regular one, I hope it will make a difference.
BTW SDRIDER, I wish in your picture Shumi was ahead of the MCLAREN.
