Don't believe this is true. I've owned both and the gold/bronze label Suntours seemed different. Quality of manufacture is higher in the Suntour Superbe Pros IMHO.

Ps. Thumbs up here for the loose-ball Suzue NJS. Had nothing but sterling service from mine. My rear is about 5 years old and still rolling fine. Have to repack regularly, as with all loose ball hubs.

Ps. Downside of the Suntours is that spare parts are really hard to find. So if you buy some, baby 'em so they'll last.
