Campy Centaur triple derailers front and back
Paul cantilever brakes
Nitto Bars, Stem, and Seatpost
bar end friction shifters- suntour, campy, shimano?
Shimano Aero Levers

What I'm debating on now is between a Chorus Triple which I can get in 30-42-53 (matches rest of drivetrain ) or a Sugino XD-2 500 crankset in 24-36-48(better bcd- more ring options). I can get both for about the same price.

Also I'm wondering about either going with a Ultegra sealed bearing threaded headset or the Campy Record. I would also consider the Chris King 2-nut if the ugly logo could be easily removed?(I'm doing all of the work myself and I heard special tools where needed for King headsets? not sure I want to pay $40 more for someone else to install it.)

I'm looking for ideas on a nice touring rim to use too. I hear that the Sun CR-18 is decent, any others?

Oh 9 speed or 10 speed? I currently ride a 6(beater) a 9(road) and 1(fix/free) speed bikes. Am I missing anything in that extra cog, does it make a difference one way or the other?

Suggestions on any of this would be great, thanks.
Get these http://www.rivbike.com/webalog/shift...urs/17089.html they're copies of the old SunTour Superbes
It won't matter what you get in the rear since you're using friction, but to get a really deep gear for loaded touing you're looking at a MTB cassette which currently top out a 9 The friction is nice because you can run anything from 7 (with a spacer) to ten. One other note is the fact that 7/8 speed chains and cassettes can be had dirt cheap should you have an issue in BFE
