An intense storm just roared up the valley this afternoon: cloudbursts and lightning strikes and the whole deal. Probably par for the course to our Cheesehead, Illini, and Golden Gopher forum-mates but really rare and weird for Nor Cal.

The sky is clearing but not entirely friendly. I hope it'll hold for the ride home.
