I use my MTB for daily exercise (about 20 miles/day) and for errands. What I like about the MTB is its ruggedness (I can crash curbs if I have to without damage and make detours over anything). Since I also weigh 260, the MTB is sturdy enough to handle me too. I've owned tourers, hybrids, racers, and recumbents, but for every-day use, my MTB is the first choice.
