I had to tell a guy the other day that he didn't need to buy the jersey, the shorts, the special shoes, and the other crap just to ride his bike. people think it's complicated, it's not. in fact, many VC/LAB/bike nazi folks are creating obstacles to the very thing they *say* they desire, getting more butts on bikes on the road, by making it seem like a daunting task fraught with certification, rules and theories, not to mention the special "gear" and he "right" bike. you guys are your own worst enemas.
