Join the Leavenworth Bicycle Club for the 24th Annual Buffalo Bill Century rides. Ride is Sunday, September 24, 2006. All rides start at 8:00 AM . Rides from 5 to 100 miles. Route uses 6 loops which will allow for rides of various lengths between 5 and 100 miles. Included this year is a 25 Mile Mountain Bike Ride. Cost for rides is $22.00 except for the 5 and 10 mile ride, which is $12.00. Registrations after September 8, 2006 add $ 5.00 late fee.

A KANSAS SURVIVAL SERIES RIDE


Come and spend an enjoyable Sunday with the Leavenworth Bicycle Club touring the boyhood haunts of Buffalo Bill and Leavenworth County. This tour (not a race) is geared to both the novice and experienced rider with frequent SAG stops and a variety of terrain.

START AND FINISH POINT
The ride will originate from and end at the DAVID BREWER PARK Pavilion, 18th and Ottawa Streets, Leavenworth. ALL RIDERS MUST CHECK-IN PRIOR TO STARTING.
CHECK-IN BEGINS 7 AM.

PARTICULARS
Fees include route map, marked route, mobile and fixed SAG support. T-Shirt to first 200 registered riders! Helmets are required on all rides.
All rides are rain or shine. No refunds due to weather. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All SAG stops will close at 4 PM.

ROUTES
The course consists of 6 loops which provides the opportunity to choose your own distance from 5 to 100 miles. Also this year is a 25 mile Mountain Bike Ride. The terrain is moderate to very hilly.

FEES

5-10 Mile Ride ---------------------------------- $12

25 Mile Mountain Bike, 25 to 100 Mile Rides -------------- $22

Late Registration (after SEP 8) --- add $5

TIMES
7:00 AM -- Check-In begins
8:00 AM -- All rides begin
4:00 PM -- All SAG support closed

PREP

Dress for the weather and remember that it can change at any time. We recommend that all riders bring a water bottle, some basic tools, and a patch kit so you can do your own repairs. Riders should be in good condition and able to ride at least 25 miles.
