I think some of us are using the term “Fred” to describe an inexperienced rider with lousy bike handling skills - who thinks he’s much better than he really is.
They’re like Fred’s in disguise. They don’t have the usual Fred identification - mirror, kick stand, dork disc, etc., that warns you to keep your distance.
