I don't care what you look like or what you ride as long as you can ride safely in the group. If you're wearing a cow-print sleeveless jersey and your favorite pair of neon green shorts while riding your 45lb 10 spd I might get a kick out of it, but if you can hold your line I'll gladly ride next to you. I suspect the OP is the same way.
