So the search function brings me to threads that say it is aluminum, and another that says it is steel. To me, the welds definately look like aluminum. I realize that this model is no longer offered, but I may have found a good cheap one. I can only see one downside of this bike...I really wanted disc brakes, but for the price this bike is at, I may just keep that as a dream.
