Thanks. I love it to. I recently added a black Supertype post ($29 Chucksbikes) . I know some people think they are goofy or played out, but I love the look especially on this bike.

If you like the way your saddle feels now, then don't lace it too tight if you chop it. it will make it narrower and stiffer if you do whereas if you don't lace it at all, or just lace it loosely it probably won't feel much different. Punching holes is definitely easier than lacing flaps.
